Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA)
RESNA is a professional society for individuals and organizations interested in technology and disability. The purpose of RESNA is to contribute to the public welfare through scientific, literary, professional and educational activities by supporting the development, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge and practice pertaining to rehabilitation and assistive technology so that all citizens can achieve the highest quality of life.
National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS)
NRRTS is a professional association supporting individuals who provide Complex Rehab wheelchairs and seated positioning systems for people of all ages and diagnoses who have postural or mobility deficits. These professionals offer quality care and service using specialized knowledge, training, experience and skills to match the consumers’ needs to appropriate equipment.
U.S. REHAB was formed for the purpose of uniting rehab technology suppliers in a network for group buying power and managed care contracting. U.S. REHAB recognizes the uniqueness of the rehab technology market and strives to preserve the quality of the product and services provided by members of the network while allowing them to become more competitive in the growing managed care environment.
Michigan Home Health Association (MHHA)
MHHA is the state trade association for providers of home health care. The Association provides a unified voice for all components of home health care and promotes high standards of patient care in the delivery of home health services. The Association advocates for the role of home care services within the total health care system. Its membership consists of over 300 certified, private duty, hospice, home medical equipment and pharmacy/infusion organizations.
Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA)
To define, assist and ensure that demonstration of high standards of quality and business practices exist in durable medical equipment organizations. HQAA will deem companies certified in practicing industry quality standards, and provide continuous support in the achievement and maintenance of those standards in order to ensure consistent integrity within the HME industry.
